By the book, one person gets a bonus - the person with the higher level. That bonus is equal to the difference between the two characters' maximum level of the two Disciplines. Example: A has Auspex 2, B has Obfuscate/Chimerstry 1 = A gets 1 Bonus Trait on ties. Or A has Auspex 1, B has Obfuscate/Chimerstry 5 = B gets 4 Bonus Traits on ties. |

Yes, if you make eye contact with the dominator you can be dominated. It does not matter if he can see your eyes or not. |

No. By the book the blood bond can sometimes be broken through extreme exertion of willpower which typically culminates in the death of the regnant. Emphasis on 'sometimes'. |

To remove a flaw or buy off a negative trait it costs double the value and requires ST approval. |
| Why are the Harpy Records stored online? |
Keeping track of status is extremely important, as status is a central political focus to the game and has global implications. It is important to maintain a centralized location for those records so that players, and ST's have access to it. It is the responsibility of the PC placed into the Harpy position, and that positions lessers, to ensure the records are updated and maintained. This is simply the simplest solution to ensuring the records are current and accurate, as the pc's in this position should be the most informed on the subject. Anyone looking to take on the IC role of Harpy should be aware of this OOC responsibility, and the potential for IC consequences for failing to fullfill the obligation. The Harpy Records functions as a representation of Gossip. Status traits being nothing more than an ooc mechanical representation for IC reputations based on gossip. When a Harpy updates the website, this is the same as saying the Harpy is spreading rumor, gossip, etc throughout Kindred society. By not updating the records, it's the same as saying the Harpy is not doing those things. It is generally regarded as acceptable for a Harpy to take 1 or 2 weeks to update the Harpy Records after a change in Status has occured. This is however subject to IC debate, and what -if any- reprecussions befall a Harpy who does not update the records is entirely subject to IC politics and demands. |
